The bee pin featured in the photo is an antique piece from Lang’s of San Francisco. As an experiment, I wanted to see the photography in a context of promoting the jewelry featured. I created an update to Lang’s logo/branding. Lang’s current brand position is more focused on their identity as dealers of collectible estate jewelry. Because they technically deal in fashion accessories, I adjusted the brand design as if it was positioned as a fashion brand.
