Prior executive positions at Mattel, Inc. included leading global brand identity development for Barbie, as well as invention, design, and development of Ello, Mattel’s only break-through category construction toy created for girls. Leadership roles for Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Turner/Hanna-Barbera, included responsibility for brand identity development of Cartoon Network Hanna-Barbera Classic Characters, classic film properties Wizard of Oz and Gone With the Wind, and WB’s action properties Batman and Robin, and Superman.
His 13 years in NYC included partnership in design firm Manville, Bakacs, Santana developing product concepts and branding for Estée Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, Liz Claiborne, Macy’s and The Gap.
Earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design as well as studies in industrial design at The Cooper Union.
