Artist Cheryl Medow’s greatest obsession, second to photography, is birds. I created a logo that combines the initials CM into a form that resembles a birds face. The circle “eye” of the bird logo is repeated as a view frame to the art in the galleries. The artists sense of composition and subject have an almost Japanese sensibility. I used this as inspiration in choice of paper textures, colors, layouts, typography and thoughtful use of negative space.
